Participants must be enrolled in the Internship Readiness Program (IRP).

Teams may consist of one or two participants.

Each participant may only belong to one team.

Teams must register before hacking begins.

All work must be created during the hackathon period (October 27–28, 2025).

Teams may use open-source tools, APIs, and frameworks, but pre-existing projects are not allowed.

Idea brainstorming is permitted prior to the event, but coding, design, and project development must begin after the official kickoff.

All projects must be submitted via Microsoft Forms by 4:00 PM on Tuesday, October 28, 2025.

Each submission must include:

Team name and participant names
-
Selected challenge track (BlackRock or U.S. Soccer)

Project title and a 3–5 sentence summary

Problem statement and proposed solution
-
Project links (GitHub, demo video, or presentation slides)

Late submissions will not be accepted for judging.
Projects will be evaluated on the following criteria:

Creativity and Innovation: Originality and uniqueness of the idea
-
Practical Impact: Relevance to real-world challenges or community needs
-
Feasibility: Realistic implementation potential
-
Presentation Quality: Clarity, structure, and communication of the concept
Prizes will be awarded to the top-performing teams based on overall judging scores.
Judges’ decisions are final and based on the stated criteria.
All prizes are non-transferable and must be accepted as awarded.

All participants are expected to maintain professionalism and respect toward others.

Harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior of any kind will not be tolerated.

Participants must follow Georgia Tech’s community standards and Internship Readiness Program expectations.

Violations of these rules may result in disqualification or removal from the event.

Eligibility and Requirements Eligibility-
Participation is open only to students enrolled in the Internship Readiness Program (IRP).

Participants must be currently enrolled at Georgia Tech.

Only undergraduate students in the IRP are eligible.

No prior coding experience is required. Students from all academic backgrounds are welcome.

Teams may consist of one or two participants.

Each participant may only be a member of one team during the hackathon.

Participants must check in by 5:00 PM on Monday, October 27, 2025 to confirm attendance.

All project work must begin after the official hackathon kickoff at 5:30 PM on October 27.

Projects must be created entirely during the hackathon period (October 27–28, 2025).

Each team must select one challenge track:

Submissions must be original work. Projects found to contain plagiarized content or code from previous work will be disqualified.

All submissions must be completed using the Microsoft Forms submission link provided by the organizers.

The submission deadline is Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at 4:00 PM (Eastern Time).

Feedback may be provided to participants after the event at the discretion of the organizers.

All participants must adhere to Georgia Tech’s community standards and the Internship Readiness Program code of conduct.

Inappropriate, unprofessional, or disruptive behavior may result in immediate disqualification.

Participants are expected to maintain respect and professionalism throughout the event, both in-person and on Discord.
